Sara Landry Announces Sophomore Album ‘Divine Intervention,’ Shares New Single ‘Angel Dust’
Sara Landry has announced her sophomore album, Divine Intervention, arriving October 16 via her own label, HEKATE. Alongside the announcement, she has shared the album’s third single, “Angel Dust,” a collaboration with fellow HEKATE artist Alex Farell.
The project follows Landry’s 2024 debut album, Spiritual Driveby, a release that drew attention from outlets including GRAMMY.com, Billboard, and Rolling Stone while further establishing her presence during hard techno’s rapid rise into the mainstream. With Divine Intervention, Landry is expanding that foundation through a more genre-fluid approach, and “Angel Dust” offers another glimpse into the broader direction of the record.
Her rise over the past few years has been difficult to miss. Landry’s 2023 Boiler Room set became a breakout moment, surpassing 11 million views and becoming one of the platform’s most-watched sets of the period. Since then, she has performed across both weekends of Coachella, made history as the first woman to headline a show at Las Vegas’ Sphere, and continued expanding her presence beyond the electronic music world through features in Interview Magazine, VICE, and Refinery29.
“Angel Dust” also continues Landry’s creative relationship with Alex Farell, who has become a recurring presence within the HEKATE ecosystem. Beyond serving as the home for Landry’s own releases, the label has developed into an outlet for the harder, industrial-driven sound that has become closely associated with her artistic identity.
With Divine Intervention set for October 16, “Angel Dust” gives listeners another indication of how Landry plans to evolve beyond her debut. Rather than simply repeating the formula that helped define Spiritual Driveby, the new album appears positioned to push her sound into a wider space while maintaining the intensity that has become central to her music.
