Scorsi Celebrates 10 Years of Evolution on “The Album Is Fucking Brilliant”

After ten years of building the Scorsi project, the Brazilian producer decided there was only one appropriate title for his latest release: “The Album Is Fucking Brilliant”

The album serves as a snapshot of everything that shaped him over the last decade. From his early Drum & Bass influences to the artists, cities, stages, and friendships that helped define his sound, the project pulls together multiple versions of Scorsi into a single 42-minute journey.

That idea is reflected throughout the record. One of its most personal moments arrives on “Alone” a track that reunites today's Scorsi with his former projet, C.A.B.L.E. In his own words, it's essentially a collaboration with himself. The album also brings in longtime collaborators including Tropkillaz, Iccarus, and Klean, allowing him to connect different chapters of his career within the same body of work.

While electronic music sits at the center of the project, the influences behind it stretch much further. The Prodigy remains a foundational inspiration, but artists like Bring Me The Horizon continue to inspire him through their ability to combine emotion, heaviness, experimentation, and strong visual identity. That combination helps explain why the album constantly shifts between moods while maintaining a consistent sense of intensity.

The release arrives after a career that has already included performances at Rock in Rio and Tomorrowland Brasil, milestones that carried special meaning for an artist making bass-driven music in a market where that sound has rarely occupied center stage. Yet one of the most surreal moments in his career happened away from a festival. A casual coffee run with Halsey in São Paulo unexpectedly turned into a studio session for “Without Me” eventually earning him a multi-platinum plaque from one of the biggest songs of the decade.

For Scorsi, however, the focus remains on creativity rather than accomplishments. He describes the album as a collection of happy, chaotic, emotional, and angry moments, hoping listeners experience it however they need to. If there's one message connecting the entire project, it's the same philosophy that has guided him for years: don't put rules on the creative process.
