Moody Good drops ‘Speeedbump 01’ EP via Deadbeats
May 20, 2026 — After months of building momentum through a series of high-impact singles, Moody Good is officially back in full force, delivering his long awaited new EP, “SPEEEDBUMP 01”, out May 20th via Deadbeats. Marking the culmination of a multi-dimensional new creative chapter, the project fully realizes the immersive world first introduced with “Grinding” and expanded through “Humid” and “Mouth Piece”.
Across seven tracks, SPEEEDBUMP 01 showcases Moody Good at his most forward-thinking - melding wobbling basslines, futuristic baile funk-inspired rhythms, and vibrant, catchy vocal chops into a sound that feels both chaotic and meticulously engineered. The EP thrives in tension, balancing industrial weight with bouncy production elements, and pushing beyond the conventional sound of bass music into a space that is uniquely his own.
What began as a conceptual framework has now evolved into a fully formed audio-visual universe. SPEEEDBUMP is not just a one-off collection of tracks, but a world built on hyper-detailed sound design, intricate visual world building, and well rounded storytelling - where each release contributes to a larger, cohesive vision. With strong early support across the rollout, the EP is poised to translate seamlessly into the live environment, primed to dominate festival stages throughout the summer.
The project arrives on the heels of “Grinding,” which introduced the SPEEEDBUMP universe with raw, mechanical intensity, and “Humid,” which expanded its sonic palette with guttural textures and swinging rhythms, already amassing over 50,000 streams across platforms. The third single, “Mouth Piece” featuring KARAN!, pushed the world even further - infusing Brazilian influence and cross-cultural energy into Moody Good’s signature sound. Together, these releases laid the foundation for a project that feels timeless yet constantly evolving.
To celebrate the release, Moody Good will perform his first headline show of the year in Denver on May 22nd at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom - offering fans a first look into the fully realized SPEEEDBUMP live experience.
