Matt Packard Channels STMPD-Inspired Energy on “Don't Stop”
With “Don't Stop”, Matt Packard leans into the uplifting sound of Future Bounce and Melodic Bass House, drawing inspiration from artists like Vluarr and the modern direction of STMPD RCRDS. Built around energetic melodies, atmospheric textures, and festival-ready drops, the record reflects the style that has shaped Packard's evolution as both a producer and DJ while staying true to his biggest influence, Martin Garrix.
The release also represents a personal milestone. While visiting Los Angeles, Packard stepped into Mix Recording Studios for his first professional studio session, where Anton Melihov mixed the record before Fanu completed the mastering. Combined with artwork by Aymeric F, the experience gave “Don't Stop” its final polish and marked an important step forward in his production journey.
Before discovering dance music, Packard was making rap beats inspired by Nick Mira and Juice WRLD. Everything changed during a semester abroad in London while studying at Florida State University. After experiencing the city's nightlife and seeing Benny Benassi perform at the iconic Ministry of Sound, he became fascinated with electronic music, bought his first DJ controller, and never looked back.

Those experiences continue to shape his goals today. Crowds at EDC Orlando and Ultra Miami reinforced his passion for dance music, and performing at Ultra remains one of his biggest ambitions. Offstage, he balances music with life as a law student at LSU, is an Eagle Scout, and enjoys traveling, fitness, and legal advocacy. Every performance is an opportunity to read the crowd, blend familiar favorites with unexpected selections, and create a memorable experience.
At its core, “Don't Stop” was made for one reason: to bring energy. Packard wants listeners to turn the volume up, enjoy the moment, and lose themselves in the music. Guided by a simple philosophy, "If it sounds good, it's good", he continues building momentum with more releases already on the horizon.
