Martin Garrix Returns to His Roots with New EP “ORIGO”
After years at the apex of dance music, Martin Garrix drops his latest EP, “ORIGO”, released in October 2025 via his label STMPD RCRDS. The seven-track (or eight-track, depending on edition) project signals a return to the sound that launched his career, bridging nostalgia and innovation in one sweeping gesture.
“ORIGO” translates to “origin”, and Garrix uses its meaning to guide this artistic reset. The EP features heavyweight collaborators — including Afrojack, David Guetta, Alesso, Armin van Buuren and more — delivering festival-sized anthems with deep club sensibilities.
Opening with tracks like “Ain’t Letting You Down” and concluding with soaring “Butterflies”, Garrix covers his full spectrum: melodic progressive house, trance-inflected energy, and even a drum & bass turn on “Set Me Free”.
It feels like both a look back and a statement of what’s next — the end of one chapter and the start of another.
For fans of melodic house or festival main-stage energy, “ORIGO” lands with purpose. As Garrix himself puts it, this is where the story began — and where the next act emerges.
