David Guetta Reclaims the Throne: 1001Tracklists Reveals Top 101 Producers of 2026

The numbers are in, and for the fourth time in his career, David Guetta is officially the most supported producer on the planet. As Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) takes over the Dutch capital, 1001Tracklists has unveiled its annual Top 101 Producers ranking for 2026, placing the French titan back in the top spot.

Guetta’s return to No. 1 follows his previous victories in 2019, 2022, and 2023. While other rankings rely on popularity polls or social media metrics, this list is built entirely on data. It tracks which artists are actually getting played in DJ sets at festivals like Tomorrowland, in the dark corners of Ibiza clubs, and on global radio shows.

    The Data Behind the Dancefloor

The 1001Tracklists methodology is distinct. Instead of asking fans who their favorite DJ is, the platform analyzes tracklist data from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026. To qualify, a track must be supported by at least three different DJs, and each producer is judged based on their 24 highest-scoring tracks. It’s a reflection of peer-to-peer respect and dancefloor utility.

Following Guetta, trance legend Armin van Buuren took the No. 2 spot, while Max Styler surged to No. 3, marking a massive year for his house and tech-house output. Brazilian powerhouse Vintage Culture and Afterlife staple Argy rounded out the top five.

The list further down includes heavy hitters who dominated the summer circuit. Chris Lake landed at No. 11, with Odd Mob following at No. 22. Despite his varied release schedule, Skrillex remains a staple at No. 52, while modern titans Mau P and John Summit secured spots at No. 60 and No. 75, respectively.

    The Future of Dance

Alongside the data-driven list, 1001Tracklists also announced its "Future of Dance" selection. This curated list looks past the numbers to highlight the rising talent pushing sonic boundaries. This year’s spotlight includes Josh Baker, DJ HEARTSTRING, Mha Iri, NOVAH, Mary Droppinz, and Ninajirachi. These artists represent the underground sounds that often filter up to the mainstages in the coming seasons.

The electronic music community will gather to celebrate these achievements on October 22 at Club Panama in Amsterdam. The event, which runs from 4 PM to 10 PM, serves as a central hub during ADE for artists and industry professionals to connect. Admission is handled via RSVP through PLVR on a first-come, first-served basis.
