Mark Otame and Andrean Sherrnx Unite for Running Away EP, Blending Melodic Techno and Cinematic Soundscapes
Mark Otame and Andrean Sherrnx have teamed up for the release of the “Running Away” EP, a two-track project that features both the original version and a high-impact remix. Rooted in melodic techno, this EP showcases an atmospheric, emotive, and cinematic sound, drawing inspiration from Anyma, Tale of Us, and Artbat.
“Running Away” was born from a natural creative flow, capturing a deep emotional energy while maintaining a driving rhythm designed for dancefloors. As the track took shape, Otame saw an opportunity to add a fresh perspective, reaching out to Sherrnx for an official remix. The result is an EP that not only reflects both artists’ distinct styles but also elevates the track into two unique and immersive experiences.
A rising force in the electronic music scene, Andrean Sherrnx is a French-Sri Lankan producer and a graduate of Abbey Road Studios in London, where he honed his skills as both a sound engineer and music producer. His meticulous approach to production has earned him recognition from major festivals and clubs worldwide, with his music being played at Sziget Festival in Hungary and Ushuaïa Ibiza.

With releases on STMPD RCRDS, Café de Anatolia, Enormous Tunes, Mojoheadz, Fruel (Angular), Colorica, Day Dose of House, Tehora, and Tuhura Records, Sherrnx has carved a distinct identity in the melodic and progressive techno landscape. His work has also been featured by EDM House Network, further solidifying his reputation as a boundary-pushing producer. His ability to blend cinematic textures with high-energy elements is evident in his remix of “Running Away,” which delivers a bold, club-ready interpretation of the track.
For Mark Otame, this EP represents a step forward in his artistic evolution, refining his sound while pushing deeper into the melodic techno scene. Although he has yet to make his live performance debut, his vision is clear—creating music that transports listeners and evokes deep emotions. His ultimate goal is to perform at Afterlife Festival, where the immersive atmosphere aligns perfectly with his sonic direction.
“Running Away” is more than just a track—it’s a sonic journey, designed to make listeners lose themselves in the melody and energy of the beat. The collaboration between Otame and Sherrnx highlights the transformative power of electronic music, taking listeners from introspective moments to euphoric dancefloor intensity.
As both artists continue to push boundaries, fans can expect more groundbreaking music in the near future. The “Running Away” EP is just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting journey for both Mark Otame and Andrean Sherrnx.
