Homo Et Deus Builds “Humanity” Around Unity, Sound Design, and Consciousness

“Humanity” from Homo Et Deus is built around a broader idea. The track comes from reflecting on how humanity itself might evolve over the next weeks, months, and years, and translating that into sound.

The track blends melodic house and techno while leaning strongly into uplifting trance. Even at 138 BPM, it carries a feeling that comes across as slower, giving it a different kind of energy compared to other tracks in that range. That balance between genres is intentional and gives the track a character that stands slightly apart.

This release marks an important step in his journey. It’s his first uplifting trance track in a while and the first time he fully applied everything he learned over the last 10 months while becoming a full-stack producer. That includes production, mixing, and mastering, all approached with attention to detail. He highlights that every small adjustment learned during that period was applied here, aiming for top-notch sound quality.

His workflow reflects that same mindset. Instead of handling everything in one session, he splits production, mixing, and mastering into three separate environments. The track was produced in Cubase, mixed in a separate session, and mastered in Wavelab. This approach allows creativity to flow through every stage, not just during production.

His connection to electronic music goes back to early inspiration from Kai Tracid. Growing up in the same area and later getting the chance to see his home studio around the year 2000 left a lasting impact. That moment became a long-term motivation, and now he feels ready to express himself in the way he originally envisioned.

Today, his influences come from artists like Cosmic Gate, Miss Monique, and KREAM, especially through their sets and track selections. At the same time, he draws inspiration from pop, rock, metal, and hip-hop, blending ideas without limiting himself to a single direction. He describes his sound in three words: music transcends minds.

Outside of music, his perspective expands further. He considers himself a polymath and has developed a “tree-model” of consciousness to explain how the universe and human beings function across seven dimensions. Alongside that, he is now a certified full-stack production engineer through Mastering.com and has started building his own audio engineering business to support other artists with production, mixing, and mastering.

His live experience is still developing, but already meaningful. He played a six-hour set at a small techno event in central Germany organized by friends, which he enjoyed and which helped shape his direction. Looking ahead, he aims to perform more, including at locations like a public bathing beach during sunset, and eventually at festivals such as A State Of Trance in Amsterdam.

His recent listening includes a wide range of tracks, such as “2Night” from Eric Prydz, “Space Rocket” from Michael Cassette, “Siberia” from Idy Ramy, and releases from CamelPhat and Andhim, among others. This reflects how he approaches music with a wide and open perspective.

At its core, “Humanity” is about a shared feeling. He wants listeners to become aware of what unity can feel like, especially in moments where people come together through music. If that sense of connection is felt internally, it opens the possibility for people to experience happiness together.

His philosophy follows the same idea. He describes himself as a multi-dimensional being, where creations flow through him but are not him. That perspective shapes both his music and how he understands creativity as a whole.
