    Armin Lilly Unite: Techno-Trance Magic

The worlds of trance and techno have collided once more, and our scene is buzzing with the latest collaboration between Armin van Buuren and Lilly Palmer. Fresh from their mind-blowing Face2Face performance at A State of Trance Mexico, they’re dropping two explosive tracks: ‘Ayi Giri’ and ‘Dopamine Machine’.

These tracks were premiered in their electrifying back-to-back set at ASOT Mexico City and have been teased throughout the 2025 festival season, from AMF to Ultra. Reflecting the ‘Transformation’ era of A State of Trance, the sound is unapologetically harder and faster, crafted for those peak-time warehouse vibes we crave.

‘Dopamine Machine’ is a testament to industrial-style energy, anchored by a relentless kick drum and a hypnotic vocal loop. It’s quintessential Lilly Palmer, designed for the techno clubs where we lose ourselves. Meanwhile, ‘Ayi Giri’ takes a more tribal and mystical route, with heavy percussion and dark, atmospheric layers reminiscent of psy-trance, making it a festival favorite.

Armin recently shared, “Working with Lilly is always about pushing the tempo. She can make a track feel dangerous and beautiful at the same time.” Their creative synergy first sparked when Lilly remixed Armin’s iconic ‘Blah Blah Blah’. So, what do you think ravers? Are Armin and Lilly redefining the trance-techno landscape?
