Subtronics has officially completed one of the most ambitious bass-music projects of the decade with the release of Fibonacci Pt 2: Infinity, the second and final chapter in his mathematically driven saga. Arriving on December 5, 2025, the new EP brings a cinematic conclusion to the journey that began earlier this year with Fibonacci Pt 1: Oblivion, expanding the concept far beyond the boundaries of traditional dubstep and into a full artistic experience.
While Oblivion delivered the chaotic, high-energy festival power fans expect from Subtronics, Infinity shifts the narrative into a deeper, more atmospheric world. The new EP leans into emotion, tension, and expansive sound design, blending somber piano chords, glitch-infused melodies, futuristic textures, and drum-heavy bass sequences. The result is a project that feels less like a collection of heaters and more like a transportive, evolving storyline. It explores the Fibonacci sequence and the Golden Ratio not as literal mathematical rules, but as symbols for nature’s order — spirals, patterns, and the cosmic architecture that shapes everything from galaxies to seashells. Subtronics channels this idea into the music, crafting tracks that expand and contract with organic flow, mirroring the sequence’s sense of infinite growth.
