Subtronics Announces Five-Night 360° Dubstep Residency At La’s Historic Shrine Auditorium

Subtronics is bringing a rare and immersive live show to Los Angeles this December. He will play five consecutive 360° dubstep shows at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, from December 3rd to December 7th.

For this special run, the stage will sit in the middle of the venue. Fans will surround it from all sides, giving them a full 360-degree view. This setup is rare for Subtronics, and it’s expected to amplify the intensity of his bass-heavy sound.

The Shrine Auditorium, built in the 1920s, has hosted many music legends. Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, and Beyoncé are just a few names in its history. Now, Subtronics joins that list, making his debut at the venue with a unique show format.

These 360° dubstep shows also mark a career milestone. Subtronics recently released Fibonacci Part 1: Oblivion, the first part of a two-part album. The project explores different styles, from his signature riddim to more melodic sounds. Fans will now get to hear some of these tracks in a one-of-a-kind setting.

This five-night residency also makes him the second most booked electronic act in the venue’s history. Only Fred again.. has done more, with a record-breaking nine-night run in November 2023.

Fans reacted with excitement when the announcement dropped. Tickets for all five nights went on sale fast. Many dates are expected to sell out, due to the special setup and limited availability.

In past shows, Subtronics has used creative stage designs and intense visuals. But this will be his first major run in a full 360° configuration.
