Sammy Virji Chris Lake Lock In Release Date for New Collab “925”

After Chris Lake sparked hype by previewing it during his studio livestream last week, UK garage sensation Sammy Virji and the house music titan have officially confirmed that their new single, 925, drops August 22.

Already a certified dancefloor weapon in both artists’ globe-spanning summer sets, the track delivers a bouncy, feel-good groove built to light up clubs and festivals. It arrives as the fifth single from Virji’s upcoming 16-track album Same Day Cleaning, out September 19. The LP has already brought heaters like “Cops & Robbers” with Skepta and “Dis Badman” with Champion and IRAH.

For Virji, it’s another massive step in a breakout year where his signature wobblers have broken into the mainstream on both sides of the Atlantic. For Lake, it follows the momentum of his long-awaited debut album and keeps his streak of heavyweight collabs alive. “925” also marks the duo’s second time working together, after dropping “Summertime Blues” on Lake’s Black Book Records in May 2024.

Both producers are taking their new projects on tour this fall. Lake’s Chemistry album tour kicks off Halloween in Washington, D.C., while Virji’s extended run is already underway, continuing through November 15 in Detroit. Fans can hit their socials for ticket links and sneak previews.
