SAMMY VIRJI AND CHRIS LAKE DROP BASS HOUSE BANGER “925” AHEAD OF ALBUM SAME DAY CLEANING
Two of the most exciting names in modern dance music, Sammy Virji and Chris Lake, have teamed up once again to release their brand-new single “925”, out now via Astralwerks. The track arrives ahead of Sammy’s upcoming full-length album Same Day Cleaning, scheduled to drop on September 19.
Following their 2024 hit “Summertime Blues”, which racked up over 36 million streams, “925” showcases the duo’s impeccable chemistry once again. Blending slick bass house grooves with a moody, atmospheric buildup and a catchy vocal hook, the track is a testament to the pair’s precision and mastery in the studio.

“925” joins a strong lineup on Same Day Cleaning, a 16-track project that already features standout singles like “I Guess We’re Not The Same”, “Nostalgia” (ft. Issey Cross), “Dis Badman” (with Champion & IRAH), and the chart-climbing “Cops & Robbers” featuring grime legend Skepta. That single earned Sammy his first-ever Top 40 UK entry and was the highlight of Skepta’s Glastonbury Festival performance, broadcasted live on BBC One.

Known for pioneering the global resurgence of UK Garage, Sammy Virji has had a massive 2025 so far, with appearances at Tomorrowland, NOS Alive, Mad Cool, and a surprise Times Square performance. His North American tour kicked off this month with festival slots at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands, and will hit Los Angeles on September 6.

Meanwhile, Chris Lake, a staple in the international scene, continues his streak of standout collaborations and delivers once again with “925” — a must-add for DJs and dance floors alike.
