Martin Garrix Steps to the Mic on Ethereal New Single "This Dream Of You"
Martin Garrix is continuing to push the boundaries of his artistic identity, trading his usual high-octane big room energy for something far more vulnerable. His latest single, "This Dream Of You," has officially arrived via Darkroom Records, marking a significant milestone in the Dutch superstar's evolution.

The track made its worldwide debut as the atmospheric intro to Garrix's headline set at Tomorrowland earlier this summer. For fans standing in the crowd at the Holy Grounds, the shift in tone was immediate. Instead of a heavy drop, they were met with an orchestral, ethereal symphony that set a cinematic tone for his performance. The producer has since spent weeks teasing the record through stripped-back acoustic clips on social media, building anticipation for what is now his most vocal-centric work to date.
While Garrix first experimented with his own vocals on the earlier release "Catharina," "This Dream Of You" places his voice directly at the forefront. The production is characterized by light, airy textures and euphoric melodies that feel more like a personal confession than a club weapon. With the lyric "this dream of you is my way of coping," Garrix offers a rare glimpse into his personal headspace, a move that feels remarkably grounded for a DJ who spends his life on the world's biggest stages.
This release follows a string of high-profile collaborations that have defined his 2026. Most recently, Garrix teamed up with rock icons U2 for "Fireflies," a track that saw all four members of the legendary band collaborate with an electronic artist for the first time. The song has already secured a spot in the UK Radio Top 10, accompanied by a visual featuring a massive real-life drone show.

His recent studio run doesn't stop there. Garrix contributed to Madonna's latest album, Confessions 11, with the track "Bizarre," and finally released "Repeat It," a long-awaited pop-crossover with Ed Sheeran that had been in development for over a decade. These projects highlight a producer who is no longer content staying in one lane, moving effortlessly between the underground energy of his STMPD RCRDS imprint and global pop stardom.

Garrix is currently in the midst of his massive Americas Tour. After a summer spent headlining Creamfields and maintaining his residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza, he is now heading south for a run of dates in Mexico City, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Peru. Between these stadium shows, he continues to hold down his regular spots at OMNIA and Marquee in Las Vegas.
