March 11, 2026 (New York, NY) — Today, dance music phenomenon John Summit releases his latest single “SATA” via Experts Only / Darkroom Records. As the fourth single from his upcoming album CTRL ESCAPE (out April 15), the 140bpm pulsating track with a latin twist is built for late-night warehouse raves. Further highlighting Summit’s impeccable ear for composition, “SATA” is primed for the booth—a no-frills weapon for DJs. LISTEN HERE.
CTRL ESCAPE pushes boundaries by fusing a wide array of genres, from heavy-hitting tech-house flair to dubstep, drum & bass, and other broader influences. Taken as a whole, the body of work acts as a portrait of John Summit’s life right now — the relentless touring, the stadium gigs that butt right up against the intimate shows he keeps doing in order to maintain a connection to his day one fans, but it’s also designed to be played out in rooms of all sizes. Each track is its own world, its own journey through the past and present of electronic music. PRE-SAVE HERE.
Most recently, Summit released “WITH ME” featuring alt-pop provocateur Julia Wolf, where he continues to expand his sonic world as he traverses into emo territory. The track plays like a spell cast on the dance floor trading peak-time euphoria for something darker, more intimate, and emotionally charged—haunted by lingering memories, unresolved desire, and the ache of absence. LISTEN & WATCH HERE. Prior, he dropped “SHADOWS” (LISTEN HERE) a moody, intimate single featuring powerhouse vocalist LAVINIA, blending tech-house grooves with layered synths to evoke desire and mystery. His debut album single, "LIGHTS GO OUT,” captures the monotony of routine before erupting into club-fueled freedom. LISTEN AND WATCH HERE.
John Summit will make his Ibiza residency debut this summer, headlining nine Mondays at [UNVRS], alongside his UK summer headline debut at Labyrinth Events’ Tofte Manor. He then hosts back-to-back Experts Only ski weekenders in Vail and Whistler, before closing Ultra Music Festival’s mainstage.
Summit will also appear at Ultra South Africa and Tomorrowland, before returning to New York City in September for the highly anticipated return of the Experts Only Festival following its sold-out 2025 debut.
Last September, Summit hosted New York City’s largest dance music festival, Experts Only, drawing over 50,000 fans and featuring a massive lineup including Kaskade B2B Cassian, Green Velvet B2B Layton Giordani, LP Giobbi, and AYYBO. He additionally lit up major stages around the world with explosive performances at Lollapalooza Paris and Germany, Ultra Europe, and two headlining sets at Austin City Limits Festival. He also delivered his biggest U.K. show to date at London’s O2 Arena before closing out the year with a sold-out performance at Folsom Field (University of Colorado in Boulder’s stadium).

About John Summit
John Summit is one of the most in-demand names in global dance music. The superstar DJ, producer, and label owner has amassed over a billion global streams, scored two #1 U.S. dance radio hits, and landed seven Top 10 tracks on the Billboard Hot Electronic/Dance Songs chart. Known for his explosive live shows, Summit consistently sells out major venues worldwide, from a lightning-fast, under-two-hour sellout at New York City’s Madison Square Garden to three packed nights at L.A.’s Kia Forum and a headline date at BMO Stadium. His global rise continued with a debut at London’s O2 Arena, followed by a sold-out year-ending performance at Folsom Field that drew 38,000 fans, and the launch of his groundbreaking Experts Only Festival NYC—a two-day event that brought 50,000 people to Randall’s Island in September 2025. John Summit will make his Ibiza residency debut later this year, with his first-ever residency on the island as he headlines nine Mondays at [UNVRS]. Whether commanding an arena or an underground club, the Chicago native (now based in Miami) brings his signature high-octane energy to every set.
Behind the scenes, Summit is a meticulous and thoughtful artist. Formerly a CPA by day and music tutor by night, he now spends long hours in the studio crafting dynamic, emotionally resonant tracks. As a touring artist, he’s headlined festivals around the world, including the Sahara Stage at Coachella 2024, and produced unforgettable events in unique locations — from the hills of Tennessee to snowy takeovers in Vail, Colorado, and Tahoe, Nevada — all under the banner of his label, Experts Only. Founded in pursuit of complete creative freedom, Experts Only is a global movement built on the principle of music without limits — blending house, techno, melodic, and everything in between. Summit’s global hits like “Where You Are” (feat. HAYLA), “Human” (feat. Echoes), and “Go Back” with Sub Focus (feat. Julia Church) reflect that ethos. He has also been recognized for his impact in the dance music genre through nominations Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and iHeartRadio Music Awards nominations.
On July 12, 2024, he released his highly anticipated debut album Comfort In Chaos. Exploring themes of vice and virtue, highs and lows, and the duality of the human experience, the album reveals the man behind the icon — pairing Summit’s signature dancefloor energy with raw emotion and introspection.
Building on this duality, Summit will release his new album CTRL ESCAPE on April, 15th – reframing that tension through a new lens: the clash between 9–5 monotony and the electric release of the rave. Sonically and visually tracing Summit’s path from accountant to artist, the project positions music not just as an escape, but as a communal force—where collective euphoria becomes both rebellion and belonging.
