Eric Prydz Steps In for John Summit at Creamfields 2026
Creamfields has announced a major change to its 2026 lineup, with Eric Prydz stepping in for John Summit after the American DJ canceled the remainder of his August performances.

Prydz will take over Summit’s slot on Friday, August 28, at the APEX stage, joining a stacked day of electronic music at one of the UK’s biggest festivals.
The change comes after John Summit announced the cancellation of his remaining August shows, as he shifts his focus toward preparations for his upcoming North American tour. While his absence leaves a noticeable gap in the schedule, Creamfields has brought in one of electronic music’s most established names to fill the spot.

Eric Prydz is no stranger to Creamfields. Over the years, the Swedish producer has delivered several memorable appearances at the festival, including bringing his acclaimed HOLO show in 2022, followed by a Pryda performance in 2024.
This time, Prydz will return to perform inside APEX, one of Creamfields’ most ambitious stages. Introduced in 2024, the massive indoor arena can hold around 30,000 fans and features large-scale LED screens, lasers and a production setup designed for some of the festival’s biggest performances.
The addition of Prydz gives fans an unexpected reason to look forward to Friday’s program. Known for his progressive sound, carefully constructed sets and immersive visual productions, his return adds another major moment to an already packed Creamfields weekend.
Despite the last-minute lineup adjustment, Creamfields 2026 continues with a huge roster of electronic music artists, with Eric Prydz now officially taking John Summit’s place at APEX on August 28.
