Buja Drops “Arriba y Abajo” on Nervous Records

Rising artist Buja continues building momentum with his latest release “Arriba y Abajo,” a track that merges Latin rhythm with club-focused tech house energy.

The idea for the track came during a period when Buja was deeply immersed in Latin music, absorbing the movement and body-driven rhythm that defines the genre. Instead of carefully planning the concept, the song came together instinctively. While writing the vocals, he imagined being on a dancefloor, letting the rhythm guide the lyrics so listeners would feel the urge to move almost immediately.

The production started with a reggaeton rhythm, which became the foundation of the track. From there, Buja pushed the sound toward tech house, keeping the Latin swing but building it on a heavier, club-ready structure. He started studying music at the age of ten, learning acoustic guitar, piano, and drums before moving into electronic production. Looking ahead, Buja is preparing several new projects. One of the most anticipated is an upcoming EP with Lee Foss, set to release on Repopulate Mars. At the same time, plans for an Asia tour are already taking shape as he continues expanding his reach internationally.
