Blanke Unleashes Highly Anticipated Debut Album “Edge Of The World”
August 21st, 2026 – Australian-born, Denver-based multi-faceted artist Blanke unveils his long-awaited debut album, EDGE OF THE WORLD, the culmination of years spent refining one of bass music's most immersive and cinematic creative visions. More than a debut LP, the project serves as the emotional destination of the universe Blanke has carefully unfolded throughout 2026, bringing together themes of destruction, rebirth, hope, and human connection into a singular body of work.
Across EDGE OF THE WORLD, Blanke seamlessly blurs the lines between cinematic electronica, melodic bass, trap, midtempo, and experimental sound design, pairing soaring orchestration with explosive bass and deeply personal songwriting. The journey begins with "Kethexis," an explosive opener that fuses relentless trap energy with cinematic tension before flowing into "Unbound," where sweeping orchestral arrangements collide with the dark, bass-driven production that has become synonymous with the Blanke sound.

The album also brings the story of Blanke's three-part EP trilogy to its conclusion. Standout records including "Internal Shell" and "Colder" featuring Megan Ashworth from PART I – EXODUS, "Arsenal" and "Beautiful Tragedy" featuring Ella Poletti from PART II – SKYFIRE, and "Sunrise" featuring Jex alongside "Synchronise" from PART III – AWAKENING are woven into a larger narrative, giving new context to the chapters that have steadily built toward this moment.
Expanding that world even further is a cast of collaborators that reflects Blanke's broad creative reach. Jason Ross and ZOHARA join him on the euphoric "Born Again," while Illoh brings a groove-driven experimental edge to "Illustrious." Linney lends her unmistakable vocals to the cinematic "Hysteria," while EDDIE and NEVVE on "Entropy" and Virtual Riot on "Ultriminal" showcase the heavier, more uncompromising side of the album. Blanke also reunites with 1788-L for "Illuminate," marking a highly anticipated reunion that delivers a hard-hitting, intense collision of their signature sounds and pulls listeners deeper into the album's expansive universe. Rather than feeling like isolated collaborations, each artist serves the larger emotional arc of the record, reinforcing Blanke's vision instead of distracting from it.

Blanke shares, “I’m so excited to present my first album, EDGE OF THE WORLD. This project has been a long time coming. It’s been a journey of learning and self-discovery. The music is an expression of old and new influences, allowing me to release the kinds of songs I haven’t had the opportunity to yet. A representation of all the different genres and sounds I've made over the last 10 years. It’s an amalgamation of friction points, escaping incorrect paths, finding new ones, and coming out the other side. Visually, it’s similar to a story I’ve wanted to explore for many years, documenting the fall of the earth, and the rise of a new one. This has been a meaningful experience for me as a human and an artist, and I hope you feel that as you listen to it and absorb it in whatever way you do.”
The project follows a landmark year for both Blanke and the continued global expansion with festival appearances at Ubbi Dubbi, Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge (Mainstage), Lost In Dreams and more. Blanke has amassed more than 250 million combined streams, collaborated with artists including Illenium, REZZ, Seven Lions, Zeds Dead, Gryffin, NGHTMRE, Big Gigantic, and Dabin, and established himself as one of the few artists capable of moving seamlessly between cinematic songwriting and underground club music without compromising either.
With EDGE OF THE WORLD, Blanke doesn't simply deliver his debut album, he fulfills the promise of everything that has come before it. The result is his most complete artistic statement to date: a record that is as emotionally resonant as it is ambitious, and one that firmly establishes Blanke as one of electronic music's most compelling creative voices.

The album arrives during one of the most defining years of Blanke's career. In late June, he announced his highly anticipated Far From Home co-headline tour with Virtual Riot, kicking off on album release day at Washington D.C.'s iconic Echostage. The North American run will continue through major markets including Rebel in Toronto, Brooklyn Steel in New York, and Royale in Boston, before culminating at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Blanke will then close out the album era with a special hometown finale at Reelworks in Denver early February 2027.
On the tour, Blanke comments, “I'm so excited to take the project on the road this Fall too - joining forces with Virtual Riot for our co-Headline 'Far From Home' Tour. Val has been a great collaborator this year, and I can't wait to get this tour started!”
Rather than existing as separate projects, Blanke and ÆON:MODE have become complementary pieces of the same creative vision. His drum & bass counterpart has continued its rapid ascent through headline tours across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and North America, alongside appearances at EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Tomorrowland, Liquicity, and Let It Roll. Together, they move effortlessly between melody and intensity, cinematic songwriting and underground club energy, while Blanke continues to shape one of electronic music's most distinctive artistic identities.

About Blanke:

Blanke, the project of Australian-born, Denver-based producer and DJ JP Orchison, has steadily evolved into one of the most distinctive and forward-thinking names in bass music. Known for balancing cinematic songwriting with high-impact production, Orchison has spent the past decade building a creative world that moves fluidly between melodic and heavy bass, progressive influences, and drum & bass without ever losing a clear sense of identity.
Across the Blanke project and his drum & bass counterpart ÆON:MODE, Orchison has amassed over 250 million combined streams while releasing music through labels including Monstercat, Ophelia, Deadbeats, and Ministry of Sound. His catalog includes collaborations with Illenium, REZZ, Seven Lions, Zeds Dead, Gryffin, NGHTMRE, Big Gigantic, Dabin, and ATLiens, alongside official remixes for artists such as Marshmello, SLANDER, and Sullivan King.
That versatility has translated into a global live presence spanning Red Rocks, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza Chicago and Paris, Lost Lands, Rampage Open Air, The Gorge Amphitheatre, The Hollywood Palladium, and major festivals across Europe, Asia, and Australia, alongside additional performances at Nocturnal Wonderland, Tacoma Dome, Listen Out Festival Australia, Creamfields China and more.

Recent years have also seen Blanke emerge as one of the leading crossover figures between bass music and modern drum & bass through the rise of ÆON:MODE, which has quickly developed its own international momentum with headline tours across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and The US, festival appearances including Coachella, Liquicity, Let It Roll, and Tomorrowland, and over 30,000 tickets sold.
Rather than treating those projects as separate lanes, the duality sits at the center of his current creative era and forthcoming Blanke debut album campaign.
In 2026, Blanke began unveiling that vision through an ongoing EP series leading toward his debut full-length album. The installments expand the conceptual framework pairing heavier, precision-driven production with melodic and emotionally charged songwriting. The project reflects the larger direction of the Blanke universe.
The second installment, ‘SKYFIRE,’ release arrived amid a landmark 2026 for Blanke, including performances at Coachella, Lost In Dreams, direct support runs with Virtual Riot, and a headline appearance in Denver.
With his debut album on the horizon, Blanke has positioned himself not simply as a producer moving between genres, but as an artist building a long-form creative universe entirely on his own terms.
