Arcando Announces Debut Album 'Inception' and Gritty New Single With IRAH
Arcando is officially entering a new era. The Dutch producer, who has been steadily climbing the ranks of the drum & bass scene, just announced his debut studio album, Inception. To kick off the rollout, he has teamed up with the legendary UK vocalist IRAH for a high-octane new single titled "Killer Instinct."
Set for release on October 16 via Monstercat, "Killer Instinct" represents a darker, more visceral turn for Arcando. The track was born out of a studio session in the UK last November, where the duo experimented with frenetic guitar riffs and old-school breakbeats. Over the course of ten months and four different versions, the song evolved into the club-ready weapon fans are hearing today. IRAH, whose voice became a staple of the UK Top 5 charts through collaborations like "Baddadan" with Chase & Status, brings his signature South London sound system grit to the production.
A Decade in the Making

While Arcando is currently synonymous with high-energy D&B, Inception is designed to be a retrospective of his entire musical evolution. The album aims to bridge the gap between his early experimental productions and the heavy-hitting drum & bass sound that defines his current sets. By pulling in collaborators from diverse musical backgrounds, Arcando is looking to push past the standard tropes of the genre.
The timing couldn't be better. Arcando has spent the last year riding a wave of viral momentum, starting with his massive remix of Alok and The Chainsmokers’ "Jungle." Since then, he’s shared credits with Martin Garrix on "Set Me Free" and teamed up with Andromedik for the melodic anthem "Hold Me In Heaven."
Amsterdam Dance Event Premiere
Fans won't have to wait long to hear how the full project translates to a live environment. Arcando is scheduled to premiere Inception during Amsterdam Dance Event on October 23. The event will serve as the official launchpad for the album, offering an immersive look into the world he has been building for the better part of a decade.

With "Killer Instinct" dropping October 16, Arcando is making it clear that he isn't just following trends—he's looking to leave a permanent mark on the drum & bass circuit.
