
A large fire hits the Warung Beach Club in Brazil

A fire has damaged the Warung Beach Club in Itajaí, Brazil, one of the most famous electronic music venues in the country. The fire broke out in the morning of Wednesday, February 22 and was controlled by the firefighters after about two hours. No one was injured. According to the authorities, the cause of the fire is still unknown and will be investigated.

The Warung Beach Club, located near the beach, is known for its unique and organic aesthetic, inspired by Indonesian temples, and its custom sound system that is installed for each event. The venue has played an important role in shaping Brazil’s electronic music scene and has hosted renowned brands and DJs, such as All Day I Dream, fabric, Richie Hawtin, Honey Dijon, Peggy Gou, Solomun, ANNA, Gui Boratto, Maceo Plex, Boris Brejcha, Jamie Jones, and Hernan Cattaneo.
It is worth noting that the Warung Beach Club was elected the 21st best club in the world by DJ Mag in 2022, making it a top destination for electronic music enthusiasts from all over the world.
