EDM Reality Dating Series “Wooking For Love” Now Casting for 2026 Season

A new reality dating series inspired by the heart of festival culture is officially on the way—born straight out of Denver’s thriving rave community. Wooking For Love, a festival-driven twist on the classic dating-show format, is now actively seeking contestants for its debut season, which begins filming in 2026.

The show will follow 16 self-described “diverse wooks” as they search for love, connection, and the perfect festival partner across 12 full episodes. Contestants will all live together in a ranch-style villa, where they’ll tackle a variety of music-centered and festival-inspired challenges meant to test compatibility, creativity, and teamwork.

Challenges will range from flow-art choreography and performance tasks to hands-on stage production and crew-style competitions—intentionally grounding the show in authentic festival culture rather than the polished, luxury environment typical of mainstream dating series.

Creator LaRue Allegretto also confirmed a production collaboration with Denver’s community-owned venue Nova Studios, reinforcing the show’s commitment to grassroots festival identity.

Inclusivity is another core pillar of Wooking For Love. The series welcomes participants of all identities, sexual orientations, and relationship styles. Allegretto shared that interest has already been “overwhelming,” with more than 350 applications submitted ahead of casting.

While playful in tone, Wooking For Love reflects a larger shift happening in electronic music: community-first storytelling, lifestyle formats, and underground culture crossing into mainstream media. Filming will take place in and around Denver—long celebrated as one of North America’s most active hubs for bass music and festival energy.
