WonkyWilla Heads to Miami for Annual ‘Wonksgiving’ Charity Event at Midline

WonkyWilla is taking his annual Thanksgiving tradition to South Florida. On Saturday, November 28th, the Florida-based bass music producer will host \"Wonksgiving\" at Midline Miami, turning the holiday weekend into a large-scale charitable event for the local community.

For this edition, WonkyWilla is partnering with the Food For Life Network, a Miami nonprofit that has provided free groceries and nutritional support to individuals living with chronic illnesses since 1987. The event aims to address food insecurity directly through several channels: $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the organization, and 50% of all Wonksgiving merchandise sales will go toward the cause. Attendees are also encouraged to participate in a food and clothing drive on-site at the venue.

    Mixing Bass Music with Philanthropy

\"Wonksgiving is about giving back to the community,\" WonkyWilla said. \"Everyone deserves the chance to have a nice Thanksgiving meal with the people they love. I love that the dancefloor can also be a place for giving. That’s really what being Wonky is all about.\"

The event finds a home at Midline Miami, a massive 10,000-square-foot, two-level venue located in the heart of Wynwood. Musically, fans can expect WonkyWilla’s signature blend of heavy bass and left-field sound design, supported by sets from rSUN and Sloth. The night promises to mirror the colorful, high-energy atmosphere that has become a staple of his live shows.

This isn't the first time the producer has used his platform for good. Last year’s Wonksgiving in Austin drew over 500 people, and his previous charitable efforts have raised more than $8,000 for Feeding America. By shifting the focus to Food For Life Network this year, he’s targeting specific needs within Miami-Dade County.

    A Breakout Year for WonkyWilla

The charity show comes during a massive growth period for Nicholas Olivieri, the mind behind the WonkyWilla project. He is currently in the middle of his 30-date \"Wonking On Sunshine\" Tour, which recently saw him sell out the 1,500-capacity Walter Where?House in Phoenix. From a viral performance at Lost Lands to an upcoming 2027 headline debut at Denver’s Mission Ballroom, the momentum behind the project is undeniable.

Beyond the dubstep and disco-infused sets, WonkyWilla has built a reputation for theatricality, often collaborating with the Strawberry Disco Circus to transform venues into immersive playgrounds. Wonksgiving serves as a reminder that as the venues get bigger, the commitment to the community remains a priority.
