Wax Motif & Ty Dolla $ign Link For “Bad & U Know It,” First Single From House Of Wax II
Wax Motif is back with new music—and this time he links up with Ty Dolla $ign for “Bad & U Know It,” out March 27 via Divided Souls.
The track serves as the first single from his upcoming album House Of Wax II, marking the start of a new phase in his sound—one that leans deeper into the crossover between house, hip-hop, and R&B.
Built around Ty Dolla $ign’s signature vocals and Wax Motif’s stripped-back, groove-driven production, the record blends late-night club energy with a more song-focused approach. It’s designed to work both on the dancefloor and outside of it, reflecting the direction Wax has been building toward over the years.
This collaboration comes from a long-standing creative relationship. Wax Motif has worked across both electronic and hip-hop spaces, connecting with artists and producers like Ty Dolla $ign, Ye, and Timbaland, and continuing to expand his reach beyond traditional club records.

Following his debut album House Of Wax, which has surpassed 33 million streams, the new project builds on that foundation with a stronger focus on songwriting and collaboration. House Of Wax II brings together influences from house, hip-hop, and R&B into a more complete and global sound.
As the first release from the album, “Bad & U Know It” sets the tone for what’s coming next.
