Teteo : A Tribute to Miami s Culture with Latin Rhythms
The latest release from Mingo and Sictric, “Teteo,” launched by the Mustache Crew label, reflects the vibrant mix of cultures that defines Miami’s music scene. The track, characterized by a fusion of house music with reggaeton vocals, exemplifies the diversity and energy that permeates the city.
The inspiration for “Teteo” came from the artists’ experience as residents in Miami, where the music scene is heavily influenced by Latin culture. The duo sought to create a track that captured this essence, combining a house music base with the pulsating energy of reggaeton. Initially, the producers faced challenges in finding the right vocals that would fit the vibe they wanted to create. The solution came through a collaboration with videographer Brn0, who revealed his hidden talent as a vocalist, giving the music the final touch needed to make it unique.
The collaboration with Brn0 was unplanned but happened naturally, demonstrating the chemistry between the artists. Brn0, who works with Mingo at a major media company, brought a new dimension to the track with his vocal performance. The production was carried out using Logic Pro and a variety of plugins, allowing the artists to explore different textures and rhythms until they achieved the desired sound.
“Teteo” is a celebration of the present, life, and music. The lyrics emphasize the importance of living in the moment, enjoying life to the fullest, and spreading love through dance. The track aims to bring a smile to the listeners’ faces, conveying a message of joy and authenticity. Follow Mingo and Sictric on Instagram to stay updated on their upcoming releases and events.
