Solomun Reworks Jamie xx’s ‘Waited All Night’ With Two Club-Ready Remixes
House titan Solomun has just dropped not one, but two remixes of Jamie xx’s “Waited All Night”, out now via Young. The original track, taken from Jamie’s acclaimed 2024 album In Waves, reunited him with Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim of The xx — a moment that became a live highlight at both Glastonbury and Jamie’s LIDO Festival.
Fans have been buzzing about these remixes for months, as both artists teased them during DJ sets across the globe. Now, the wait is over. Solomun brings his trademark deep, melodic energy to Jamie’s emotional original, crafting two distinct journeys designed to turn introspection into pure dancefloor release.
“Jamie and I have been friends for a while,” Solomun shared. “His latest album really blew me away. Choosing just one track to remix wasn’t easy, but with Romy and Oliver’s voices the inspiration came quickly. In the end, I delivered two versions, and I’m thrilled they’re finally coming out.”

Jamie xx echoed the excitement: “I’ve been playing with Solomun at Pacha for years. When he sent me the first remix, I was floored. Then another one came out of the blue. Both are so good I’ve played them at nearly every show.”

With Solomun’s Diynamic grooves colliding with Jamie xx’s signature emotional touch, these remixes bridge underground club culture with festival euphoria — proving once again why both artists remain at the top of the game.
