SOFI TUKKER RELEASES BOLD NEW SINGLE “BOBA”

March 13, 2026 (New York, NY) — Today, dance music duo SOFI TUKKER releases their newest track “BOBA,” out now via John Summit’s Experts Only. The New York–based duo delivers a cheeky, feel-good dance-pop track infused with a vibrant Portuguese twist, showcasing their signature blend of multilingual grooves crafted to energize dance floors and captivate audiences everywhere. SOFI TUKKER says of the track: ‘’We made BOBA for the club. It’s based around a poem by the Brazilian poet Chacal, and it’s a sweet love poem set in an unlikely context. We’re so excited to release it with Experts Only. We’ve loved watching John’s rise and it feels like the right time to do something together years after Sun Came Up and his Drinkee remix. We’ve always been a bit of a misfit: more live than most djs, but more djs than most live acts. Dance music culture is at the core of what SOFI TUKKER is and it means so much to us so to be putting this out with arguably the hottest dance label in the world’’

Prior to “BOBA,” SOFI TUKKER released “COOK,” a collaboration with J Balvin. The track is a playful pop song featuring airy synths and frisky vocals. Lyrics like, “mix it in a pot, everybody look, get it while it’s hot” ride over a percussion-heavy dance beat. SOFI TUKKER has spent years developing their signature sound and playful aesthetic. ABOUT SOFI TUKKER 

SOFI TUKKER is a GRAMMY-nominated electronic duo made up of best friends Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern. After meeting at Brown University, they formed a band instead of following their original solo paths—Sophie back to Brazil, Tucker into DJing.
