Psych Drop Podcast Launches During Miami Music Week, Exploring the Psychology Behind Success in Electronic Music
Miami, FL — During one of the most influential weeks in global dance music, performance psychologist and executive coach Dr. Sunni Lampasso, the Psychologist Beyond the Booth, launches Psych Drop: The Psychology of Success in Electronic Music, a new podcast exploring how DJs and producers navigate performance pressure, creative demands, and the career decisions that shape long-term success in the electronic music industry.
Timed with Miami Music Week 2026, the launch will be celebrated with a daytime podcast launch party on Thursday, March 26, from 1 PM to 7 PM at Cucu’s Nest Bar in Miami, in collaboration with Purple Tea Records and Deep Tech Los Angeles (DTLA). The event will bring together DJs, producers, and music industry professionals for music, networking, and conversations about the mindset and strategies behind building sustainable careers in electronic music.
A New Kind of Conversation in Electronic Music
Electronic music is one of the fastest growing and most competitive creative industries, yet conversations around the psychological demands of success remain limited. Psych Drop fills that gap.
Hosted by Dr. Sunni, the podcast features in-depth conversations with DJs, producers, and industry leaders navigating:
• Performance pressure
• Creative demands
• Burnout and recovery
• Career growth and decision-making
• The realities of building a sustainable career in music
The show offers a deeper perspective on the industry, focusing on the human side of success rather than trends or tactics.
Launching with Industry-Relevant Voices
Early episodes of Psych Drop feature artists shaping today’s electronic music scene, including:
• Billboard-charting DJ and producer GT_Ofice
• Producer Conrad Taylor, whose official remix of Rosalía’s “Berghain” surpassed one million streams in its first week
These conversations set the tone for the podcast’s focus on real careers, real pressure, and long-term growth.
