Moby Teams Up With Silver Panda for Melodic Techno Rework of ‘Lift Me Up’
Legendary producer Moby has revisited one of his most iconic singles, joining forces with rising melodic techno duo Silver Panda to reimagine ‘Lift Me Up’. The new version transforms the 2005 anthem into a hypnotic, euphoric techno journey that bridges two generations of electronic music.
While the original carried Moby’s alt-electronic edge, Silver Panda infused the track with deep basslines, shimmering synths, and their trademark slow-burning builds that explode into a powerful release.
For Silver Panda, the project marks a defining moment in their career.
With a career spanning over three decades, Moby has sold more than 20 million albums, collaborated with icons like David Bowie and Daft Punk, and in recent years embraced partnerships with contemporary names including BLOND:ISH, Anfisa Letyago, and Nicole Moudaber. His openness to collaboration underscores a passion for reinvention and connection with new generations.
Meanwhile, Silver Panda continues their rapid rise in melodic techno. Their 2024 collaboration with John Summit on ‘Sweet Disposition’ topped charts worldwide, amassing over 73 million Spotify streams. This latest rework proves the timeless power of classic records while showcasing how fresh interpretations can unite dancefloors across eras.
