Mike Iannello Channels Festival Euphoria into New Single “Perversity”
Belgian-based DJ and producer Mike Iannello returns with a powerful new single, “Perversity,” dropping this September 5th, 2025 via Gotrybe Records. Inspired by his recent experience at Amsterdam’s Loveland Festival, the track is a sonic interpretation of that moment when you’re lost in the crowd, yet completely in your own world — a rush of connection, freedom, and raw emotion.
“Perversity” refuses to be confined to a single genre. It’s a fusion of house and techno with Iannello’s signature focus on emotional storytelling, building tension and release in a way that mirrors the pulse of a dancefloor at peak hour. Each element of the track is designed to move the body while tapping into the deeper side of the listener’s psyche, creating what Iannello describes as “a wave that everyone follows at their own pace, taking you to the same destination.”

A lifelong music lover, Iannello’s journey started as a clubber in 90s Spain before immersing himself in Belgium’s iconic electronic scene. Guided by influences like Laurent Garnier and New Wave pioneers Depeche Mode and The Cure, he transitioned from fan to DJ, eventually stepping behind the decks and into the studio to craft his own sound.
His music is all about energy, thrills, and emotions — a blend of hypnotic grooves and uplifting power. “Perversity” captures that ethos perfectly, releasing pent-up energy and encouraging fans to surrender to the moment.
When he’s not behind the decks or in the studio, Iannello’s passion turns to Mediterranean cooking — proving his creativity extends beyond music. Fans can catch him live at Elektronik Zoo and upcoming club dates across Belgium, where his contagious good mood and immersive sets promise to turn any dancefloor into a shared emotional experience.
