KOTA Unveils Deeply Personal Techno Anthem “Never Look Back”
KOTA, the UK-based techno producer and DJ, is set to release “Never Look Back”, a driving euphoric techno track inspired by his personal journey through health struggles, major surgery, and recovery. The single reflects his commitment to forward-thinking energy, both in life and music, urging listeners to embrace the present and move beyond the past.
Blending energetic rhythms, uplifting melodies, and immersive soundscapes, the track draws on KOTA’s love for healing frequencies and influences from his travels and life experiences. Many of the sounds woven into the track hold deep personal meaning, reflecting the resilience and determination that shaped his recent journey.

Never Look Back
With a career spanning over 30 years, KOTA first made his mark in the late ‘90s as a hard house DJ, performing alongside legends like Tony De Vit, Steve Thomas, and Ian M. His early productions earned releases on Tidy Trax, Hot Potato, Cross Trax, and Slick Sluts, solidifying his presence in the scene. After a long hiatus to focus on family, he reignited his passion for music in 2023, diving into techno with a renewed creative vision.
Beyond his music, KOTA embraces off-grid living, channeling his creativity into self-sufficient projects and sustainable production. His deep connection to sound, nature, and raw energy translates into his music, creating authentic dancefloor experiences that blend old-school DJ craftsmanship with modern innovation.
Fans can expect even more from KOTA in 2025, with multiple releases lined up on Sintenzo Records and Lucid Kat, alongside self-released projects like “Scared Heart” (Feb 14) and “Muladhara” (March 7). His work continues to push boundaries, proving that music is not just about sound—it’s about storytelling, transformation, and connection.
