Kicking Off The Weekend with If I Believe by DJ G-String and Gatra Via G-Mafia Records

G-Mafia Records proudly presents the latest single in the electronic music scene, “If I Believe,” a collaboration between DJ G-String and Gatra. This release promises to captivate listeners with its unique blend of trance and early 2000s vibes, bringing a refreshing energy to the dance floors. 

“If I Believe” is an engaging track inspired by love and its challenges. DJ G-String explains: “Love and the challenges in love are what inspired me to write this track. I was in a creative rut, so I found Gatra. It’s our first collaboration, and I gave him my concept of how I wanted heavenly sounds with a hint of early 2000s vibe. Over the course of months, we tuned the music, and then I wrote the lyrics within an hour, sang it, and worked with my mixing and mastering engineer. It was all pretty magical.” 

The song emphasizes the importance of believing in true love and the moments shared with a partner. DJ G-String adds: “‘If I Believe‘ is really about believing in love with your significant other. Sometimes we fall and forget how life complicates simple emotions of love. It’s really easy and effortless when you have two very dedicated individuals wanting the same thing. You both just have to believe it.” 

The collaboration with Gatra arose from a search for new artists to work with. DJ G-String recalls: “I wanted to find more artists to collaborate with and I stumbled upon Gatra. He didn’t want credit on the collaboration, but I demanded he did. So we signed a contract on my terms and conditions, and he started creating the musical concept of what vibe and feeling I was looking for. He is another fun artist now on my list to collaborate with. We have another track coming out called ‘Transcend Me‘. It’s definitely fun working in this genre with him. He brings this old vibe trance feeling to the music, and I love that.” 

DJ G-String highlights the simplicity and beauty of the lyrics: “I think it really says ‘hey, I love you and I’m glad I believe in what we have’.” 

Musically, “If I Believe” is described as a trance track with old-school Euro influences. DJ G-String comments: “I think it is really a trance kind of vibe, and because I’m older, I felt a good hint of old-school Euro to it.”
