Ibiza Airport Breaks Passenger Record With 1.4 Million Travelers in July
Ibiza Airport has reached a new milestone in summer travel, handling 1,446,589 passengers in July 2025 — a 0.9% increase compared to the same month last year. The latest figures extend the island’s steady growth this year, with traffic now up 1% over the first seven months of 2025, according to AENA (Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea).

Of the total, 1,443,755 passengers flew on commercial services. Domestic routes accounted for 480,372 travelers, down 0.8%, while international traffic surged with 963,383 passengers, representing a 1.9% rise year-on-year.
Aircraft movements also followed this upward trend. Ibiza recorded 13,232 flights in July, an increase of 1.1% compared to 2024. Out of these, 12,376 were commercial operations, underlining the island’s continued pull as a global tourism hub.

With August traditionally being Ibiza’s busiest month, the record-breaking numbers reinforce the island’s reputation as one of the Mediterranean’s most in-demand summer destinations. For airlines, promoters, and tourism operators, the data signals another booming season for the White Isle.
