Hotelsinus Unveils “Fire VIP” – Experimental Drum and Bass with a Message
Hungarian artist Hotelsinus (Zizics Fanta Laszlo) is back with “Fire VIP”, part of his forthcoming “Fire EP”, released on November 29, 2024. Known for his experimental Drum and Bass style, Hotelsinus uses this track to deliver a message far beyond the dancefloor.
The 2024 version of “Fire VIP” is a reinterpretation of a track originally conceived in 2001. This update draws inspiration from the ongoing war in Ukraine, transforming rhythm and dance into metaphors for resistance and harmony. “No more wars like Chechnya,” Hotelsinus declares, channeling personal experiences, including his service in the Hungarian Army, into the music. Expect deep basslines, dark atmospheres, and the haunting power of Japanese taiko drums.

Hotelsinus’ passion for electronic music began in the 1990s, experimenting with early tools like the Amiga Protracker and eventually mastering platforms like Renoise. His sound is heavily influenced by icons such as The Prodigy and Roni Size, blending eclectic textures into niche, hard-hitting tracks. Beyond music, he is a talented pixel graphic designer, contributing visuals to his projects.
The release of “Fire VIP” is just the start. Hotelsinus is also gearing up for his next single, “Stepping Through Shadows”, a collaboration with Miami-based artist Stige. This track promises raw energy and genre-defying creativity.
Adding to the excitement, Hotelsinus Records has officially launched in 2025. This Hungary-based electronic music label is dedicated to supporting experimental artists of all ages, fostering a new generation of sounds. Stay tuned as Hotelsinus continues to push boundaries in electronic music.
