Gisus Releases Uplifting Progressive House Track “Summervibes”

Dutch producer Gisus has unveiled his latest single, “Summervibes”, released on August 22, 2025. Blending progressive house, melodic tech house, and elements of techno, the track is inspired by the simple yet powerful joys of summer.

The idea for Summervibes came to life during a hot day in the studio, when Gisus felt a warm breeze through his window, smelled barbecue in the air, and cracked open a cold beer. That spontaneous moment of energy became the bassline melody — and from there, the track was born. The album cover, taken during a family holiday in Tuscany, Italy, reflects the same carefree atmosphere that shaped the song.

Production-wise, Summervibes relies heavily on filter modifiers and fast cutoff movements, techniques that add texture and motion to the track. The result is an energetic, uplifting, and melodic journey that captures the essence of long summer days.

Music has always been in Gisus’s life. His brother, Bassano, introduced him to electronic sounds by playing hardcore vinyl, sparking his curiosity. He started producing 30 years ago with FastTracker 2, and today, he works with FL Studio. Over the years, he has built a style that draws influence from names like Boris Brejcha, but still remains uniquely his own.

While his career has had its ups and downs, Gisus embraces every moment as part of the journey. From his earliest gig — DJing for just three kids in a youth center — to his current productions, every step has shaped him. Looking ahead, his dream stage is the Tomorrowland mainstage, where he hopes to deliver something different from the mainstream. “There’s too much boring music on the mainstage,” he says with a smile, adding that he would do it without using a microphone.

Outside of the studio, Gisus enjoys good food, nature walks, and classic music — from Deadmau5 and Lane 8 to Eminem, 50 Cent, and 70’s rock. His philosophy is simple: “It’s all about frequencies. Your mind likes music or it doesn’t. Follow your heart and don’t let other people’s opinions distract you.”
