EDC Las Vegas officially announces a massive two-weekend expansion for 2027

Insomniac officially revealed that EDC Las Vegas 2027 will expand into a brand-new “Dusk Till Dawn” format, transforming the iconic festival into a 12-day experience featuring two separate festival weekends connected by a full week of events in Las Vegas.

The first weekend will be called EDC DUSK, happening May 14-16, while the second weekend, EDC DAWN, will take place May 21-23. Fans will also have the option to attend both weekends through a combined “DUSK & DAWN” pass.

According to the official announcement shared by Pasquale Rotella, the idea has been in development for years. The goal is to reduce overcrowding while improving the overall festival experience for ravers traveling to Las Vegas.

One of the biggest changes is that both weekends will reportedly operate with reduced capacity. Insomniac says this should create more space inside the festival, easier hotel availability, less traffic congestion, and a smoother overall experience both inside and outside the Speedway.

Another major detail is pricing. General Admission passes for each individual weekend will start at $399 all-in, while the combined two-weekend pass starts at $599 all-in. Insomniac also confirmed that fans can secure passes with only a $5 deposit, with payment plans beginning later in the year.

The company also clarified that both weekends are expected to feature the same production quality, same experience, and likely the same lineup structure, meaning fans won’t necessarily have to choose between a “better” weekend.

Camp EDC and Hotel EDC are also returning for both weekends, signaling that Insomniac is fully committing to turning EDC into a city-wide multi-week electronic music experience similar to what Miami experiences during Ultra week.

For longtime ravers, this could become one of the biggest shifts in North American festival history. Instead of one overloaded weekend, EDC is evolving into a longer immersive experience designed around flexibility, travel, and community.
