EDC Las Vegas 2025 Unveils Changes During a Line-Up Live

During the Music Through Music livestream, Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella revealed major updates for EDC Las Vegas 2025, marking what promises to be one of the most ambitious editions yet. Alongside the lineup reveal, the festival introduced a brand-new theme, expanded stage designs, a music education partnership, and the return of fan-favorite experiences.

This year’s festival will embrace a futuristic city concept under the theme “kineticMETROPOLIS”, symbolizing sound, energy, and connection. Among the most significant changes is the introduction of Ubuntu, a brand-new stage created in partnership with South Africa’s Bridges For Music Academy, which will showcase Afro house rhythms and performances from both students and legendary South African artists. Other transformations include an expanded bionicJUNGLE, a redesigned quantumVALLEY, and the final year of the current bassPOD stage design before its anticipated overhaul in 2026.

Another major announcement came with Insomniac’s Discovery Project teaming up with Icon Collective. This year, the competition winner will receive a full-ride scholarship to the prestigious music production school, offering a life-changing opportunity for rising producers.

With 16 stages, an expected 500,000 attendees, and a stacked lineup featuring more than 250 artists, EDC Las Vegas 2025 aims to break new ground in festival production and musical diversity. Highlights include a reimagined wasteLAND stage with a dedicated day for hard techno and hardcore, a bigger stereoBLOOM dance floor with an exclusive VIP area, and a special live act announcement at cosmicMEADOW that remains a mystery for now.

As per tradition, the full EDC lineup was teased through a long megamix, leaving fans to piece together the names of the artists performing this year. The lineup list was released today, February 13th and is full of excellent artists
