Drama at Saga Festival: Hardwell Walks Off Stage Over Equipment and Payment Problems

Did you hear what happened with Hardwell at the Saga Festival in Bucharest? It was crazy! So, Robbert van de Corput, you know, Hardwell, had this major drama during his set. He’s one of the top DJs out there, right? But he just cut his set short and walked off the stage!

Apparently, he was super frustrated because he hadn’t been paid and the equipment was a total mess. Imagine flying all the way from the Netherlands and then not getting paid and having to deal with crappy gear! He even told the crowd, “I can’t perform like this.”

There are videos all over social media showing him taking off his headphones and storming off. Then, he grabbed the mic and vented to everyone there, saying he came all the way just to play for them but the equipment was terrible. A staff member tried to get him off the stage, but he wasn’t having it. He ended his set right there.

The Saga Festival team didn’t waste time clapping back on Instagram. They were like, “We could’ve fixed the issues if you had let us, and it’s weird ’cause other artists like Rita Ora and Sickick had no problems.” They even threw a bit of shade by saying other DJs were playing fine with the same equipment from the Netherlands.
