DOUBLE TOUCH DELIVERS ELEGANT ‘GRAN AMIGO’ EP VIA ALL DAY I DREAM

The live electronic duo Double Touch returns to All Day I Dream with their latest work, the stunning Gran Amigo EP, available now on all streaming platforms.

Crafted with a balance of live instrumentation and electronic detail, the four-track EP unfolds over 23 minutes of deep, textured soundscapes. Gran Amigo is a journey of melodic piano lines, organic percussion, and lush synth layers, each track designed to resonate emotionally while keeping feet moving on the dancefloor.

The EP opens with the warm, evolving grooves of “Come With Me”, transitioning into the detailed, percussive depth of “Desire”. The title track “Gran Amigo” carries a cinematic feel with immersive atmospheres, while the closing piece “Amour” dives into meditative depths, concluding the project with rich emotion and precision.

Formed by Van-Anh Nguyen, a classical pianist and composer, and Mark Olsen, a DJ, drummer, and producer, Double Touch draws from both their Sydney and Los Angeles roots. Since debuting on All Day I Dream with the Adagio EP in 2019, the duo has consistently contributed to the label’s catalog — including Greatest Day (2020) and Storm (2022) — as well as joining Lee Burridge on select tour dates.

Gran Amigo marks another elegant chapter in their discography, reinforcing their ability to seamlessly fuse organic elements with electronic aesthetics. It’s a release that captures the essence of All Day I Dream’s vision: thoughtful, emotive dance music that tells a story.
