DJ DeT Vibe Brings ‘Funky Party’ Back Into the Spotlight

Meet DJ DeT Vibe — short for Detective Vibe — an artist who treats every track like a case waiting to be solved. His latest highlight, “Funky Party”, has been out on SoundCloud for years, but recently found new life after being picked up by Swedish radio station Puls FM. With more than 14 tracks played on the station and DJs across Sweden spinning his music in clubs, DeT Vibe’s underground presence is turning heads fast.

The inspiration behind Funky Party is as vivid as the track itself: imagine a dancefloor glowing under black lights, with neon outfits, body paint, and an atmosphere built for pure release. That visual came from a photoshoot with alt models, one of which even ended up as the single’s cover art.

    A Detective’s Approach to Sound

DeT Vibe’s creative journey began unexpectedly. After dating a Ukrainian DJane who pulled him into the behind-the-scenes world of electronic music, he decided to craft original tracks for videos tied to his auto import business. To avoid licensing hassles, he reached out to a former Kyiv DJ-turned-producer — now his creative partner. Together, they formed a unique duo: DeT Vibe as the mastermind detective, guiding the sound, and his partner as the producer, executing the vision.

Influenced by Swedish House Mafia, but always seeking something fresh, his mantra is simple: different, unique, progressive. That pursuit has led him down wild roads — from blending opera and EDM with an Argentine singer, to commissioning original German vocals, to featuring his partner’s daughter with her haunting, untrained voice. Listeners, especially at Puls FM, have praised his catalog for its unpredictability: each new track feels like a new case, with no obvious outcome.

    Beyond the Dancefloor

DeT Vibe isn’t just an artist — he’s building a universe. He’s weaving his alter ego into two manga projects: Pagu Panku, a noir detective story set in a silk-punk inspired alternate universe, and Lettuce, a surreal Sunday-comic throwback starring a pug with a head of lettuce. His comics are live on manga platforms and Instagram, with fashion designers even creating pieces from his characters for shows like World of WearableArt (WoW).

With dreams of taking his partner to perform in Sweden — and one day Ibiza — DeT Vibe is chasing more than gigs; he’s chasing freedom. Every new track is a mystery unraveled, every show an invitation into his world.

“Every song is a new case,” he says, embodying his detective persona. And for fans, the case file is only getting thicker.
