Disney signs “Toddler Techno” DJ Lenny Pearce for new family-focused dance music project

Australian DJ and producer Lenny Pearce is officially bringing “Toddler Techno” into the mainstream after signing a new development deal with Disney. The partnership will introduce a new project titled Disney Jr. Music: Lenny Pearce Toddler Techno, featuring dance remixes of classic Disney Jr. songs and themes aimed at children and families alike.

What started as simple at-home edits for Pearce’s daughter quickly evolved into a viral online phenomenon. By remixing nursery rhymes and children’s television themes into club-inspired house and techno tracks, Pearce unintentionally created an entirely new lane in electronic music culture — one built around “baby raves” and family-friendly dancefloor experiences.

The upcoming Disney project will include reworked versions of familiar songs from the Disney Jr. catalog, including the iconic Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme, alongside music connected to shows such as Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, SuperKitties, and Spidey and His Amazing Friends. The album is scheduled for release on May 15 through Disney Music Group.

Pearce’s live events have also become a major part of the Toddler Techno movement. His daytime “baby rave” shows blend festival-style production with safe sound levels, inflatable props, interactive visuals, and shorter DJ set structures designed specifically for younger audiences. Over the last few years, the concept has expanded into sold-out events across the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and parts of Asia.

Beyond music releases, Disney’s agreement with Pearce reportedly extends into animated content and possible Disney+ integrations, signaling that Toddler Techno could become more than just a niche internet trend. Instead, it may evolve into a fully developed crossover between electronic music culture and children’s entertainment.

From an industry perspective, the move reflects how dance music continues to expand into unexpected audiences and formats. By combining recognizable Disney properties with club-ready production and viral social media appeal, the collaboration positions Lenny Pearce’s Toddler Techno concept as one of the more unusual and surprisingly successful electronic music crossovers of recent years.
