Charlotte de Witte Confirmed for Ultra’s Mainstage
The Belgian techno queen, Charlotte de Witte, is rewriting history books yet again in the dance music world. This summer, she created two milestones by becoming the first female artist to close the Tomorrowland mainstage and the first techno artist to do so. Her achievements have caught the attention of Ultra, and they have decided to follow in Tomorrowland’s footsteps.
In an official announcement made today, Ultra has confirmed that the KNTXT leader will be gracing the Mainstage on Friday, March 24. It is highly anticipated that she will receive a prime-time slot, just like at Tomorrowland. This will be the first time that a techno artist has ever played in a primetime mainstage slot at the Ultra Music Festival, and Charlotte de Witte is the perfect artist for the job.
The big question on everyone’s mind is whether Charlotte will go head-to-head with Eric Prydz HOLO as the closing act. Both artists are highly revered in the dance music scene and are known for their epic performances. Only time will tell who gets the coveted closing slot, but one thing is for sure – Charlotte de Witte is going to light up the Mainstage with her hard-hitting techno beats, leaving the audience begging for more.
