Brazilian Label AK Cartel Gains Major Support at Drumcode Event for Over 12k People
AK Cartel, the Brazilian record label, has made a powerful comeback after more than three years of hiatus. Resuming its activities in January 2025, the label is already reaping significant rewards during its first month back in action. One of the standout moments came on March 22, 2025, at a massive Drumcode Records event in London, which gathered more than 12,000 people.
Organized by one of the most respected labels in the world, founded by techno legend Adam Beyer, the event was a sold-out success featuring a memorable B2B performance between Adam Beyer and Vintage Culture. The lineup also included heavyweights like Korolova, Bart Skils, Kevin de Vries, and the iconic Anna Tur, ex–CEO of Ibiza Global Radio and a central figure in the global electronic scene.
It was Anna Tur who gave major spotlight to the Brazilian label. During her set, she played “ENANA”, a track produced by UK artist Will Lewis and signed to AK Cartel, officially set for release on June 27, 2025. The surprise continued when Drumcode’s official Instagram account reposted a video of the performance, showing Anna dropping the track to an ecstatic crowd.

Based in London, Will Lewis is a techno DJ and producer known for high-energy sets and immersive productions. A resident at Egg London, he has released on labels like Renesanz, Frequenza, Spacekraft, and Reload Records. His standout works include “Deep Space” (with Trent Hadid), “Tell Me Lies,” and the “For You” EP (via Redlof Records), which combines powerful basslines and hypnotic female vocals.
With this kind of major international support so early in the year, AK Cartel is solidifying its position as one of Brazil’s most internationally projected labels in 2025. The comeback is off to a strong start—with even more to come.
