BLOND:ISH Becomes First Female Resident in Pacha Ibiza’s 50-Year History

After more than 50 years, Pacha Ibiza has officially announced its first-ever female resident DJBLOND:ISH. The Canadian DJ and producer will take over the legendary club every Wednesday for an 11-week residency, running from May 21 to July 30, 2025.

Pacha, which first opened in 1973, has hosted world-class residents like Swedish House Mafia, Solomun, and CamelPhat, yet had never before introduced a non-male resident in its long history. BLOND:ISH’s residency brings a fresh energy to the island, with her ‘Abracadabra’ party—a concept built on community, sustainability, and immersive experiences.

“I’ve been going to Ibiza since I was 17, so you can imagine that I’ve been dreaming about a residency, and what I can bring to the island that’s unique,” BLOND:ISH shared. “Energy is everything, and you can be sure that we will bring fresh energy to the island. It’s something you need to experience in person on Wednesdays at Pacha Ibiza with Abracadabra.”

This residency comes as Pacha gears up for its 2025 opening weekend, kicking off on April 25 with performances from Solomun, Purple Disco Machine, and ANOTR, with more names yet to be announced.

The club, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2023, remains one of the most iconic institutions in electronic music. With BLOND:ISH now taking a historic spot in its lineup, this summer promises to bring a new energy and a long-overdue shift to Pacha’s legacy.
