Barclay Crenshaw Collaborates With His Son Jasper On An Emotional New Track

Barclay Crenshaw, renowned for his electrifying performances and boundary-pushing productions, just released an emotionally charged new single, “Goodbye My Friends,” featuring vocals from his son, Jasper Crenshaw. Out today, this track marks a significant moment as Jasper’s first official release, coinciding with his journey into college life.

“Goodbye My Friends” stems from a heartfelt song Jasper wrote to bid farewell to his high school friends as he transitions to college at the prestigious University of Southern California’s Pop Vocal Performance undergraduate program. The powerful emotions in Jasper’s vocals inspired Barclay to transform it into an emotive bass track. This collaboration beautifully blends Jasper’s poignant lyrics with Barclay’s acclaimed production skills, following closely on the heels of Barclay’s recent collaboration with his daughter, Ella, on the track “Tiramisu.”

Barclay Crenshaw continues to tour extensively, with over 60 dates in 2024, including major festivals such as LIB, Elements, Apocalypse, Movement, Electric Forest, and Texas Eclipse. His dynamic tour and the release of “Goodbye My Friends” epitomize his continued evolution as an artist committed to blending and bending genres, ensuring his music remains as fresh and engaging as ever.
