AVELLO Reinvents BØRNS’ Classic With Powerful ‘Electric Love’ Cover
Rising electronic producer AVELLO has unveiled his reimagined take on BØRNS’ 2015 hit “Electric Love”, transforming the dreamy alt-pop anthem into a bold, festival-ready bass weapon. Released on August 27, 2025, the track blends cinematic builds, dubstep energy, and soulful vocals, breathing new life into a song that defined a generation.
AVELLO’s version balances nostalgia and innovation, paying tribute to the euphoric essence of the original while reshaping it into a dynamic electronic anthem. Featuring soaring new vocals and a colossal dubstep drop, the track is both familiar and entirely fresh. Reflecting on the release, AVELLO shared: “‘Electric Love’ was one of my favorite songs in high school. I love finding tracks from that era and giving them my own twist.”

The cover has already made waves on major stages. Subtronics premiered it at Fvded In The Park, sending shockwaves through the crowd, while Excision dropped it at Bass Canyon to massive fan response. Alison Wonderland, Levity, and Daniel Allen have also showcased the track in their sets, solidifying its status as one of the most exciting reworks of the year.
Fans eager to see the energy firsthand can catch AVELLO on tour this fall. His upcoming performances include Riverside25 Festival (Gatineau, September 14), Breakaway Festival (Huntsville, October 3-4), and a headline show with Subtronics in San Diego (November 4).
With “Electric Love”, AVELLO delivers not just a cover, but a powerful reinterpretation that connects past and present, cementing his place as one of bass music’s most promising names.
