Amelie Lens Bought Her Grandmother A Dream Apartment After Losing Her Mom At 5

Amelie Lens has shared one of the most personal stories of her life, revealing that she recently fulfilled a promise she made as a little girl.

The Belgian techno superstar explained that she lost her mother when she was just five years old. After the tragedy, her grandmother took her in and raised her as her own daughter, becoming the most important person in her life.

Growing up in a social housing apartment, Amelie remembers watching her grandmother struggle through cold winters with barely functioning heating and carrying heavy groceries up multiple flights of stairs. Those memories stayed with her for years and inspired a lifelong goal: one day, she would take care of the woman who sacrificed everything for her.

A few months ago, that dream became reality. Amelie surprised her grandmother with a new dream apartment designed for comfort and peace, complete with an additional apartment upstairs for a caretaker and family support.

"Seeing her so happy is the greatest achievement of my entire life," Amelie wrote. "She gave me a future and now I get to give her the world."
