Alex Jordan Drops As It Goes – A Melodic Afro House Journey
Alex Jordan has officially released his latest track, “As It Goes”, a unique fusion of Southern Nigerian vocals and ethereal ambient elements, resulting in a melodic afro house anthem designed to make listeners move—even if they don’t understand the lyrics.
The inspiration behind the track stemmed from Jordan’s desire to create a song that evokes pure feeling and energy. After returning from months of travel, he locked himself in the studio one evening and, by the next morning, had the track fully produced.

For this release, Alex Jordan took a meticulous approach to the production process. After sourcing Southern Nigerian vocal samples, he enlisted multiple African translators to ensure he fully understood the lyrics before finalizing the track. From there, the project traveled across the globe—Sri Lanka, India, and the Netherlands—where the final touches, mix, and mastering were completed by DJ and producer Maryn.
Drawing inspiration from Keinemusik and classic Major Lazer, Jordan crafted a track that evolves dynamically, carrying listeners through an emotional and danceable journey. His focus on storytelling through music shines as the song builds into a powerful second half, packed with deep, rhythmic energy.

With big plans for the rest of 2025, Alex Jordan is lining up performances and preparing an upcoming EP with 99GoonSquad, alongside a series of new singles and music videos. As he continues his ascent in the electronic music world, one thing is clear—his mission is to bring emotion and excitement back to the scene.
