4B Returns To Deadbeats With Explosive New Single "Switch"

Following the success of his Deadbeats debut, "WHAT IS THIS," released in June, Jersey Club pioneer 4B returns to the label with his explosive new single, "SWITCH," arriving August 12.

Leaning further into dubstep while staying true to the high-energy sound that has defined his career, "SWITCH" pairs relentless basslines, hypnotic vocals, crushing drops, and signature Jersey Club influences into a festival-ready weapon. The release marks the next step in 4B's evolving sound, showcasing a heavier direction without losing the infectious energy that made him a standout in electronic music.

Known for pioneering the fusion of Jersey Club and bass music, 4B continues to push genre boundaries while maintaining the raw intensity that has earned him a global following. As he enters this new creative chapter, "SWITCH" reflects his willingness to experiment while staying rooted in the sound that fans have come to expect.

The release arrives as 4B continues a landmark year on the road, following headline performances in Los Angeles and Bangkok while holding down his residency at Hakkasan Nightclub Las Vegas. With support from Tiësto, Skrillex, Diplo, Steve Aoki, RL Grime, and I Hate Models, 4B continues to cement his reputation as one of electronic music's most dynamic and forward-thinking producers.

    About 4B

Bobby McKeon Jr., professionally known as 4B, has spent over half his life relentlessly pursuing his sound and vision as a DJ and producer. His work has earned support from industry heavyweights including Skrillex, Diplo, Tiësto, and more.

4B’s breakout single, “Pop Dat,” became a defining trap anthem upon its release in 2015, quickly evolving into a global festival staple. The record went on to become one of the most-played trap songs of 2016 according to 1001Tracklists and has since surpassed 20 million plays across the internet. He followed that success with the 2018 release “Whistle,” a high-energy Jersey Club–meets-EDM anthem that led to collaborations with Chris Brown, Trippie Redd, and other major artists across the global music landscape.

Known for boundary-pushing, forward-thinking production, 4B brings the same precision to his remixes, including reinterpretations of Fetty Wap’s “My Way” (with Flosstradamus), DJ Snake’s “Middle,” and J Balvin’s “Mi Gente.” Whether original or remix, 4B consistently delivers records that connect with listeners on a massive scale.

His catalog has earned co-signs from nearly every major DJ, producer, and label, including Interscope, Ultra, Mad Decent, Dim Mak, and OWSLA. In addition, he founded his own imprint, Maca Records, further solidifying his reputation as an artist who delivers quality with consistency and earns respect at every level of the industry.

4B’s dedication to his craft has taken him from humble beginnings to landmark performances at major festivals worldwide, including his Park ‘N Rave show with Insomniac during quarantine, EDC New York, Orlando, and Las Vegas, Coachella, Hard Summer, and countless club shows in between. What began as beats mapped out at a school lunch table in Westfield, New Jersey has evolved into a career that embodies the dream of every young producer who stays up late chasing sound, vision, and impact.
