Check out James Hype’s new single ‘Helicopter’

James Hype, whose real name is James Edward Lee Marsland, is a rising star in the EDM/house music industry. Since his big break in 2018, he has released many popular tracks such as ‘More Than Friends’ with fellow artist Kelli-Leigh and ‘Good Luck’ featuring Pia Mia. His latest chart-topper, ‘Ferrari’ featuring Miggy Dela Rosa, won him a BPI Gold certification and ARIA Platinum award, as well as peaking at number 6 on the UK iTunes chart.

Now, James is ready to make waves again with his newest release, ‘Helicopter’. This bass-heavy track is a modern twist on the classic underground sound and has the potential to become a massive club banger. It begins with a slow build up of tension-filled synths that is only relieved when the hats and percussion sweep in during the second drop. From there, the listener is taken on a journey of driving kicks and rumbling snares, while the track’s signature sound of choppy bass continually builds up the excitement until the end. ‘Helicopter’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
