Techno-Trance Trendsetter BIIANCO Unveils “Where_The_Drummer_At?” On Ultra Records

London, UK — August 19, 2026 — Self-described as a “high NRG trance cowboy,” NYC-born and London-based multi-instrumentalist, DJ, singer, producer, and live performer BIIANCO continues to carve out a singular space in dance music with the release of “where_the_drummer_at?”, out August 19 on Ultra Records. The track marks the first single from their forthcoming two-part EP project, near_sight.

BIIANCO’s rise has been difficult to miss. Known for high-energy performances, inventive live sets, and viral performance clips that have amassed millions of views, they have built a devoted audience that routinely calls for the release of the music featured in their videos. Their sound pulls from acid, breakbeat, techno, neo-trance, and classic rave, pairing the melodic sensibilities of early-2000s trance with the raw energy of contemporary underground dance music.

where_the_drummer_at?” captures that collision at its core. Acid synths cut through frenetic breakbeats and driving percussion, while BIIANCO’s vocals add another human layer to the track’s increasingly machine-like production. The result is a fast, physical record that reflects the same intensity and experimentation that have become hallmarks of their live performances.

The single introduces near_sight, the first chapter of BIIANCO’s forthcoming two-part EP series built around the overarching concept of “Machine vs. Human.” The Machine EP explores the machinery that has shaped BIIANCO both creatively and personally.

That concept comes to life onstage as BIIANCO continues an increasingly international run of performances. Over the past month, they have taken their live show from WORK Harder Warehouse in Los Angeles, Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium, and Boiler Room Festival in London, followed by performances at Solar Festival in Roermond, Lofi in Amsterdam, and Cocoricò in Riccione. Moving fluidly between DJing, live instrumentation, analog hardware, vocals, and modular synthesis, BIIANCO’s performances blur the line between live show and club set, offering a physical extension of the ideas explored throughout their music.

The project arrives during a major period of momentum for BIIANCO. Following their selection as the cover artist for DJ Mag’s third edition, they are expanding their global touring footprint with performances across Germany, France, Chile, the U.S., and beyond. Alongside their biggest body of work to date, BIIANCO is also relaunching their GAIA club events, further developing a platform for the experimental, high-intensity sound and culture that surrounds their work.

With near_sight marking the beginning of a new creative chapter, BIIANCO is pushing further into the intersection of human emotion, physical performance, and electronic machinery, continuing to challenge what a modern dance artist can be.

    ABOUT BIIANCO

BIIANCO moves through the music world like a mad scientist. Whether producing, DJing, or performing live, they seamlessly switch between instruments, hardware, and analog gear, constantly pushing the boundaries of every piece of equipment to create something unprecedented. The NYC-born, Berlin-based producer, DJ, pianist, bassist, drummer, vocalist, and synth and modular aficionado is an engineer first and foremost, with a deep mastery of the science and circuitry behind music creation that continues to set them apart as a once-in-a-generation artist.

Their explosive rise to becoming a 2026 DJ Mag Cover Star began in 2023 with a 30-second live-looping video featuring their breakout track “Against The Wall,” a collaboration with 1111 released on WUGD. After generating more than 35 million views, the track charted in 20 countries and established BIIANCO as one of the most prominent new voices in dance music. Following four additional viral moments, BIIANCO has become one of the defining faces of live-looping content in techno and trance.

Sonically, BIIANCO blends high-BPM techno and trance with acid-driven basslines and cinematic intensity. The cities they’ve called home — LA, London, and Berlin — are deeply woven into the way they write and perform. This unique combination of influences led to a deal with Ultra Records/Sony Europe and caught the attention of some of the scene’s most influential artists.

In 2024, BIIANCO was tapped by Marlon Hoffstadt to collaborate on his album. By summer 2025, their rave anthem “Bruv Parade,” a modern interpolation of De Hool’s “Met Her at the Love Parade,” was featured on KI/KI’s Essential Mix. They have since become a staple of Berlin’s electronic music community, with studio collaborators and back-to-back partners including SPFDJ, Marlon Hoffstadt, fumi, Fenrick, Emijia, Afem Syko, Mika Heggemann, TESTPRESS, KTK, and more.

Their touring momentum has continued to build, with shows every weekend across more than 17 countries throughout Europe, the UK, Australia, and North and South America. Major festival appearances include Terminal V, Awakenings UpClose, Tomorrowland, Dream Nation, Boiler Room Festival, and WECANDANCE.

As a DJ, it’s the speed, precision, and complexity of BIIANCO’s mixing that puts them in a league of their own. This becomes especially apparent when their sets are captured on camera, with a focus on their hands and equipment. Their willingness to take risks where others hesitate is unmistakable. Whether performing for a live audience at Boiler Room and Gotec or showcasing their signature acid 303 improvisations from the back of a drop-top for HÖR Car Radio, BIIANCO consistently delivers a masterclass in advanced key and rhythmic mixing. Their recent debut at the coveted Face2Face party in Lyon sold out the 3,500-capacity venue in less than seven hours.

Beyond their music and touring career, BIIANCO is relaunching their femme-powered party series, GAIA, which sold out its first London and LA editions. Now a collaboration with KTK, GAIA will return in a new format designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and community among DJs across the techno and hard dance scenes.

Ultimately, BIIANCO’s impact is only beginning. Through boundary-pushing production, technical DJ mastery, and a deep commitment to community, they are redefining what a modern electronic artist can be.
